I personally love my Apex better than the Viper (mostly for power) but I would take that Viper any day over a Nytro for pure comfort, handling and parts availability. Someone could make the argument that the Nytro tune has minimal amounts more power, but it's not a factor when the viper handles so much better, it will utilize power way batter.

Too bad the Apex engine never made it into the Cat chassis. It's a great engine.
I called the Apex riding position 'half way in between'.
I could ride it, but really don't want to.
 
I'm loving the old Catalyst patent filing drawings with a turbo triple squeezed into it. Those are popping up again this time of year as folks speculate about 2027 releases coming out next week. The apex engine would have been amazing, but the triple is more likely in that catalyst chassis.

That's the reason I sold my Sidewinder because of the cat chassis!
