Which Viper, 16',17', or 18'?

Looking at picking up another new Viper probably (LTX-DX) while they're so cheap, just looking for feedback on which year is best. I've found all three of these years still available. I know the 17 has better upper bearing setup in chain case. Will not be turboing it, but wonder if I should stay away from the 16 because of rods or if all the new ones are softer than the 14 and 15s. Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.

16, 17 , 18 cant be turbo because of the rods. Rods are not a problem on less you want to turbo it. then you need and 14 or 15.
