I'm with you. I'm ready to ride. After I get my new rear suspension in, that is. That will probably help. lol

The last few years I haven't seen the trail until January. I think we may be in for a real winter. Of course I say that every year.

Well we're after having frost a few times already this month, so thats a start.
up until 5 years ago we would normally be on the trail mid november.
Now its more like late december.
really sucks...

I can't figure out why my local dealer hasn't got all his summer stock out and winter in yet! Pretty inconsiderate, don't 'cha think?? summer's good for about 2 weeks, then I'm sick of it too.....

Not sure about anywhere else but up here in the upper midwest this has been the hottest and dryest summer since '95 - '96. Which if that means anything those winters were sweet. I am no meteorologist but I think that is just as good of a way to predict the weather as any.
bring on the snow!!!
bring on the snow!!!
i'm hoping for a good winter, but time will tell. i already started working on the machines (probably late for some of you) with hopes it'll snow early this year as i'm dying to ride. normally no good snow till dec. with a rare occurance of thanksgiving riding around here (my cabin that is). oh well grass drags start next month

if i didn't have to work and i had millions i would want to ride year round but i have to work and make cash so i can ride. i like summer only so i can work on my sleds and make cash for when the snow is falling and let me tell you that is like being in heaven.

last year the entire northeast suffered a snowless winter. i hope this year is different, cause we had one of the shortest seasons ever here if one at all. the only place with decent riding last year was northern aroostook county. even caribou was very minimal. did not ride here until december 27. ended late march. it was a very busy trail system, with everyone traveling here to ride . trails were all beat up by noon every day. people were riding around the clock! 24/7. we all deserve a good winter this year!!
