I doubt I would. I think the Warrior and the RX have the right power plant. I'd be more interested in fuel economy, weight reduction, balance and ride comfort improvements vs power plant improvements. I think the EFI is a good bet.
Last year, just about everything we bitched about on the RX-1 was fixed. My Warrior is almost a dream machine now. Going forward, snow mobile development will be a little more boring and changes a little more subtle...but I think the company will focus on what I said above:
fuel economy/range
weight reduction
balance
ride comfort
The difference between 100 and 150 HP is a lot more dramatic to a driver than the next 150 to 200 HP upgrade.

I agree with what you are saying, but before you say that the next 50 or more ponies won't make a difference you need to ride a turbo. The power is so seamless and strong, with no peaks or vallies it is unbelievable.
The boondocking we were doing this week just proves further to me how great this overall package is. Climbing and sneaking thru trees under trees and so on at any speedfrom 2mph up with no belt slipping smoking or heat issues.
So to answer the title of the post, YES I absolutly would try a factory turbo.
