who's updating their sled or working on it over the summer?

Well after totalling my 09 nytro mtx with a stage 1 supercharger on lions head in west yellowstone last February. I finally got my insurance check in april almost a complete waste of an excellent snow year in NE Minnesota. I started the rebuild in mid may. Put a 2011 153 tunnel, rear skid with new iceage rails. Added a skins under tunnel exhaust, rear and front bumpers, float plate and air frame hood. I modified the float plate so it wouldn't hold so much ice like my buddies does then replaced the useless stock skid plate with the mountain tec plate. Got new flat bar with hooks seeing I twisted the oem bar playing chicken with a tree a few day before I totalled it. I realized I still had some money left so I splurged and picked up the skinz 38'' front suspenion with float 2 evols and tunnel reinforcement boards. Pulled the gems controller and prologger off being replaced pc5 pti, atuotune and display. Modified stock seat for more room on tunnel and made a tunnel rack. Removed stock tail light and fabricated a tail light on the panel I made for the back of the seat out of the scraps from the float plate and my handle bar bag fits underneath the seat real nice and looks clean. The moral of these mods is if you play hard you pay hard. Never thought if I trashed my sled I could make it better then what I started with.:bling 20140728_203629.jpg

Did the usual stuff but found a leak in the heat exchanger while I was warming it up after oil change. Mixed feelings about that, never want to see a leak but sure is nice to find it in the garage at the end of the season and not on the trail in Bumf**k, Nowhere. Had it welded twice now and keep finding very small pin-hole leaks. Hope third time is lucky.
