I've been out playing with the Nytro in about 2-3 Inches of snow on grass(we have an 100 acre farm, grass everywhere plus an 2300' grass runway, so great testing area.
I've been riding it back to back with an Well set up F1000(mine as well), which has about 125 lbs of torque.
In general the Nytro feels....stronger than the F1000 out of the hole with far superior throttle response and down low torque. Comparitively speaking the F1000 needs some Revs to get to Ski Lifting power levels, the Nytro wheelies at command.
Impressive, but after seeing the Dyno sheet on the Nytro at 6000-7000 trail cruising RPM I would guess the Nytro makes more torque at 96 lbs than the F1000 would at it's trail rpm levels of 5500-6000.
The Nytro isn't dialed in at all yet, so will probably get better, but in general the F1000 feels easier to turn and lighter in the Corners, My first Impression is that power off the Nytro feels very nose heavy, but that can be cured pretty quickly with just an little throttle.
This was on Speedometers but on the Runway the Cat was hitting about 102(the snow is slushy so lots of drag) was only at about 90 mph, which as an Yamaha is probably really 85, the Cat speedos are pretty acurate.
In an tight twisty trail I think it would be hard to beat the Nytro, that motor down low is wicked.

My track firmed up over night and the sled has an few more KM's(30 total) on it. Was hitting 160-161kph(100-101 MPH) consistently on my runway on the dreammeter in about 1500'. I 'm guessing it will top out at about 110-113 on ice on the speedo maybe 107-108 on radar with RTX gearing.

Is the RTX gearing different than the std?morrisond said:My track firmed up over night and the sled has an few more KM's(30 total) on it. Are Yami speedo's still dreamometers? Damn! I liked my F7 showing 116 and knowing it was for real-for once.

I actually don't know for sure about the gearing.
I'm pretty sure they still are dreammeters though.
The F's seem to be accurate. It's nice when they are especially if your stuuded as you don't really need radar then.

It will take 800-1000 miles until you see the true breakin of a 4 stroke. It takes along time. Typically a 2 stroke is 250-350 miles and that is the most you will really see from it.
