After i shut off my sled last night after my ride, the sled made a wierd "winding down" sound from the clutch side of the machine. Usually i just turn the key and it goes quiet instantly, but this time there was something in there that sounded like it was winding down, for like 3 or 4 seconds. I have no idea what it could be, and i haven't had a chance yet to take a good look under the hood. any ideas? I started the engine and turned it off again and made the same noise. Jord

sounds like the fan on the right side to me. Or if you are sure its the clutch side, could have been a clutch/belt noise? Like the belt is sticking a little.

Its the "LONG HARD PULL BEFORE I GET TO THE HOUSE GREMLINS" beding down for the evening and getting ready for the next ride. LOL

Probibbly the fan my guess as well. ;)!

Yep,

99% sure it was just your fan on the right side right above your right footwell. If your sled gets a little hotter than normal, that fan will come on. No big deal...

Right on, it must have been the first time the fans been on then. It was probably the fact that i was breaking trail in 12 inches of power doing 100MPH leaving a 2005 F7 in the dust  Thanks guys
