Will a 2008+ nytro skid fit into an 06 apex with the mono?? If so what modifications would be needed?
If not, will a proaction apex rtx skid fit with no mods into a mono apex?

I believe (but am not certain) that the Nytro skid is narrower than an Apex tunnel. That is a bigger PITA than mounting a CK Pro style rear skid out of an Apex or Vector. The CK dual shock skid they used in the Apex will easily fit into a mono equipped Apex tunnel. A guy will just need to buy and intall the correct tunnel plates and mount them in the correct locations.
However, the Nytro skid is more capable than any skid that was ever fitted to an Apex. But if you go that route, I'd just buy a used Polaris or Ski-doo rear skid off eBay and go though the same trouble of mounting it.

They're all different.... The Proactive mounting point are quite a bit different than a Mono, and the Nytro is different from either.
If you are going to convert, you'll end up relocating the mounting points in all 4 corners. If you're going to that much trouble, you can open up your search for a new suspension to include just about anything out there. The installation will be no more difficult. Pick one you know and trust, then go for it.
Worst case, you do find a deal on one that's not as wide, and you shim the tunnel to fit. Pretty simple...
