Just make sure you don't mix the shifting linkages - they are different due to the rad. I was considering installing a rad for extra cooling but I must use the Apex linkages(specifically the shifting fork - shaft is shorter) to prevent linkage from running into the radiator.

I suspect the 06 reverse kit will not work on an 05 chaincase but I don't know for certain.

The 06 chaincase is magnesium and my understanding is it uses different geometry on the cover seal compared to the 05 chaincase.

Looking at Yamaha's on-line part finder the chaincase, the cover, and the seal all changed part numbers between 05 and 06.

Strangly the 07 part numbers are all the same as 06 (and there was supposed to be an update to the cover - maybe Yamaha updated the part numbers to be used on the 06 sleds??).
