I will be cutting the windows out of my 151 camoplast track this weekend and I was wondering if anyone has any good recomendation on cutting them out.
Also is there anybody that does a exchanger program for brand new tracks that have every third window closed for a full clipped track? (Just wondering if there is anything like this)

the first thing i could recommend to you, take your time to not cut where youre not supposed to.
Take a good chair or somewhat comfy.
Get a 6 packs of beer, a good OLFA knife, and go for it.
Is'nt hard, only long.

I used two wood chisels of the appropriate size It works pretty good. Takes a while though.

One way to do this is, that I've read about, is to make yourself a rectangular tube (using 2 pcs. of angle iron) that is the same size a a window. Sharpen the edges of one side of this tube.
Remove the suspension, place a heavy block of wood on the inside of the track for 'backing', place the sharp end of the tube against the track, and a hard blow from a big hammer will cut the window out completely with one hit.

I used a special soldering iron that has an exacto blade on it that I got from a hobby store. Worked very well, not as slow as you might think. It might have been the guy at tracks USA that told me to do that. It fuses the threads to the rubber while you are cutting

Do you guys clip the track after cutting the windows?

I cut the windows and then took it up to my dealer who did the clipping.
Since I was having so much fun with the soldering iron cutter, I also cut my existing holes a little wider.
I did this because I had heard that the holes were smaller than the old Yokohama tracks and it could be harder to do a hyfax change through a window.
I had bought one of those hyfax remover tools ( a screw on the end of a slide hammer is basically what it is) and LOVED the way it worked, I wanted to continue to use that method to change hyfax. http://www.ez-sliders.com/dbID/63.html
One would not have to do all that if you were out to have the extra clips and holes just have less hyfax wear.
If that were the case one could just add these

I did the same thing Ray did (wood chisels)
You need one that is 1" wide and another that is 1.5" wide and some wood blocks. 2x4s work well to put behind the windows - some larger blocks under the 2x4s so you can work on several windows without moving the track.

Just make sure the wood chisels are sharp. I helped Spray with his and the 1st couple windows were a biotch because the chisels were dull. Took them to the grinder and whala. They cut the track like butter. We finished that track in about 30 mins and only 1 beer.

I used the wood chisel and 2by4 method. Two new chisels make fast work of the job (40minutes) and you'll have them if you need to do it again. I had to rent a clip tool. I really don't know if the clipping is necessary.
