Windshield question

I need something a bit taller than the stock SE windshield. I've put on about 4000 miles with this height on my previous 3 ProCross chassis sleds. It's warm enough for me. It's about 5" higher than the SE. Lost the wings though. Hopefully cat comes out with side deflectors that will work with it. I wanted the black mid from thundercat...back order till March 1....then was going to get a medium yamaha and cut down..back order till Feb 20th. So I went with this orange mid from the ZR 9000 ltd's or the 7000 series cats.

Had to get something taller so I ordered a mid windshield from Yamaha beginning of December. Told it was back ordered till January 4, 2017......Supposed to arrive yesterday. Went to pick it up today and told still on back order with arrival now expected at the beginning of February??

TIP: take a piece of clear packing tape and apply it to your windshield...apply trail permit on that....if you have an issue...clear tape easily removes and reapplies to new sled or windshield

F*ck the tape. Might as well wear carhardts too
I put mine directly behind the windshield on my instrument panel and opted for the clear. I just swap windshields and drive right by and waive to Dnr or police. All they look for is the color. Passed like 12 so far not an issue.
