Windshield weather strip

Wondering if anyone has experience knowing where Yamaha wants the weather strip placed. Between the windshield and the hood or between the Bra (red part, my sexist description) and the windshield. The parts breakdown calls for the part but my sled did not have them. Prob don't really need but I bought them so want to install them correctly. Thanks craig

I saw the exploded view,,, so the strip goes on the corner covers? Thanks, I must be dense...

That's the piece. Why I still have this broken piece from my RX-1 is beyond me but this should provide you with an idea as to where to place that strip of trim:
