Probably going to buy some Wiseco 10:1 for my sled (gt2871 Boondocker). I haven't heard many bad things about the pistons until recently when Dave (Freak) broke a wrist pin. Is this a common problem with the pistons? He also told me that there is a update for the wrist pin, does anyone know about this? Any other good or bad things I should be aware of?

CP Pistons makes pistons for the R1 crotch rocket, but I don't know if they are the same for the sled, or if CP makes them for the sled, but that is my absolute favorite piston manufacturer. I believe they only do 4 strokes. He makes custom pistons for us for Cannondales, and they are far better than JE and Wiseco. If I ever decide to lower my Apex's compression w/different pistons, I would have him make some special for me if he doesn't already make them.
