woodys slim jims

Just put a set of Studboy 9" duals on my Apex and rode over 600 miles this weekend in Michigan. Absolutely no darting but alot of drag. Lost 2mpg and at least 10 mph on top. Even noticed less rpm at WOT. How are the slim jims for drag? Do you have any of these problems?

you sure it wasnt the conditions...it was warm...and these sleds get dragged down easy

I thought the same but was cold on Friday and got on some roads with minimal snow, still over 10 mph less than what I could run before. The only changes I made was the new Stud Boys and added quite a bit of transfer.

i haven't notice any drag. Even if there is a little its not the extreme numbers that your losing with the studboys

there is drag -- but it does not seem to matter ...

I did not conduct any sort of "test" to quantify that effect ...

the effects I notice are no darting, better turning -- both on pavement & trail
