Here's another twist....if say I mixed my 94 premium with 100LL Av gas, to achieve an octane of 102, is that a safe thing to do?
This thing of 100LL being so different because of slow engine rpm.s and high elevation making it a very wrong fuel to use seems more untrue then anything. So many people using it and no issues, so what are they doing the rest aren't to make it problem free to use?
As far as I know, it has an additive that makes the fuel last a long time when not being used, and other then that, is the same but leaded. Our 100LL here is an actual 105 octane when compared to pump ratings, but again who runs this and what is thier setup, AF etc?
