On my 2005 Vector ER, on the clutch side, there is a portion of the lower hose that isn't protected by the existing guard. I and many others have exploded belts and the belts cut into the hose and ruined a ride/trip.
One of you guys out there...please develop a kit that includes a plate with pre-drilled holes (so you can mark and drill the existing plate) and rivets (or NF nuts/bolts) to mount it. I don't think you would have to drill and rivet into the bulkhead...I THINK just mounting it to the existing plate would do the job.
I have no idea which RS years/models are affected and does the "problem" exist in other models.
I will order the first one!!!
