Hey guys, I am debating ordering one of the WRP seats for my 06 Apex. I have looked through here and found some pictures but was hoping you guys could post more pictures. I really don't want a bulky looking seat and I think I can live with the WRP or the other option is getting mine redone by a local guy that does a really nice job but everything I read about these WRP seats is awesome reviews. I'm about 5'11'' and want that extra. Also, does anyone know how the blue looks with the stock Yamaha blue plastics? So...any before and after pics or more pics? Thanks guys! Opinions welcome...

Go for it. One of the best mods I did to my Attak. Can't comment on the blue matching, went with solid black.

Here is my 2015 Apex XTX , with the WRP seat . It is great ! sharp lines , no bulging as most DIY or custom seats have .
It also has the Lake effects riser , which you need as a minimum requirement when raising the sitting position .
I am 6' 2".

It does look good! The newer ones have a less bulky looking seat. Thanks for the picture. Anyone else?

Being comfortable is key. I had the privilege of going on a ride March of 2014 in Mus it was a demo ride I got to ride all the vipers put on 100 miles on them total the last 20 miles were on my old gal. 06 er at the time it was and still is a 136 but I realized that it needed some improvement. I went with a WRP and factory mountain riser good got a deal on it. I ditched the stock shortie cool windshield which I still have for warmer days and racing. I just got around to sending out my shock for rebuilding. I loved the ride, seating, and wind protection the vipers offered they all had taller screens on it was cold on that demo ride. I was before riding it thinking seriously about buying one but its just not for me so I made it as close as I can and will wait for the day Yamaha dumps the 4 banger in it.

Ended up having mine custom done with a bit of added foam and is stiffer also. He put gripper material on the top also. I'm very happy with it so far!
