I have the wrp seat instaled and i tried it today. If you are on the fence about this seat, you dont know what you are missing. Go for it. I also instaled a 3 plus inch pivot riser and a cable extenion from powermadd. This is on a 2004 rx1 shorty with m20 air, 2016 tunner skis. I no longer have plans to trade for a new sled now, thats how big a difference this all made. All for under 700 dollars, minus the m20. I am sure the difference is more profound for me because i am 6ft 5 inches tall and 300 lbs. Over 200 miles today and i have zero leg and knee pain. Thank you wrp for an awsome product. Thank you totallyamaha for an awsome forum!

Hey 4bangdan I just ordered one of those seats, do you have to take the tail light cover off to find the bolts that hold the seat on? I don't want to drill those rivets out if I don't have to.

You do have to remove the taillight housing to get the two bolts that hold the seat, but on my 05 you don't do anything with the rivets. The rivets just hold the screen like piece in the cover. There should be two black Phillips heads, like all the other ones that hold the different pieces of body work on, that you undo and then remove the exhaust tips. Not all the allens on the tips, just the middle upper and then the 5 oclock and 7 oclock (roughly) ones.

I strongly recomend an air stapler. I bought an arrow brand air stapler[35$ @ do it best] with T50 heavy duty 5/16" staples at 80 psi.
