I have been running since 93 when i had a v-max 4 and i have lost only 1 to keep them on I use teflon tape on the bolt seam to work better.

I believe 6004's are the size number, depending on what Manu you use, could mean there is different numbers after that number I guess?
I install the Mar sno-kit as well this past fall, I believe I used blue loc-tite and made sure everything was real snug(no toque wrench) and so far so good,,, but I only have about 100 miles on them so far. Am I living on borrowed time or do some floks never have any issues with these?
