I am planning a trip out to Dubois shortly anyone want to team up and split the expenses.

I got a email from the State Of Wyoming today and they said they will start grooming on Dec 1st.

I plan on trail riding on the CDT and have been out to the Line Shack, Sawmill Lodge before, I have a 05 4 door hemi that could make the trip, looking for someone with a inline trailer that is ready to roll.

How many selds do you want to take? I could get my brother's 4 place. What exact dates are you planning? Where exactly are you located in MI? I have a place in Grand Rapids and home is in Baldwin.

I have a new Nytro that i will be taking, maybe a Apex GT also , i live in Cadillac, is the 4 place inline ,steel, aluminum? it should be in newer condition it is quite the ride out and back.

I have driven it in 24 hrs, but usally stop short of Cheyenne and make the last leg in the next day barring that you have good weather and they dont drop the gates on the interstate, have not made any reservations yet , you can either stay on Union Pass at the shack or sawmill or save a few bucks and stay in Dubois and trailer to the trail head everyday kind of a pain to save a few bucks.

No rejetting required ever on any 4 stroke Yamaha that i have ever takin out there to 10,000 ft.

Tenative dates leave 12/16till?

Just a sugestion.......But your driving past some GREAT riding just west of Laramie in the snowy range. It would shorten your trip about 8 hours each way. There is a huge storm rolling through right now. should be 3-4 feet of fresh by wed night. I plan on leaving thursday night. Eric

shaf I have some brand new jets for mtn alitude for your nytro if you want to gain a little extra power.

SRX,
Never been there, but i used to talk to Cody who owned the Yamaha dealership in Cheyenne.

Hows the trails in the snowy range, i have been used to the Tetons and know my way around pretty good.

Wheres a good place to stay trailside, hows the gas situation.

The folks on Union Pass have treated me and my friends like family since day one ,it is pretty hard to go anywhere else.

Last year we stayed at Medicen Bow Lodge for 3 days on our way to the CDT trails. They have gas right there, the best food in the area, and the people are great. www.medbowlodge.com
If I didn't have to pay a mortgage, I would go in a heart beat.

There is 300 miles of trails in the Snowies. around a dozen places to stay right on the mountain or at the base. Several places to buy gas on the mountain. Lots and lots of boondocking with a huge riding area. They pretty much have something for every skill level. If you go next week dont plan on getting off trail with that short track :) Eric
