Has anyone ridden at a higher elevation with the nytro. The elevation will be 8,543ft. I'm from Minnesota. What will I need to change if anything on my RTX to go out there?

go to your dealer they have the update and service manual it will give you clutch/gear changes needed for elevation. i have been out there but mine is an mtx, the clutching and gearing is way different. ski

Lighter weights in the primary for sure and drop down to a smaller top gear if you want to do a lot of climbing. If you plan on staying on the trails you don't need the gear. If you plan on playing off trail leave the 121" track at home and rent or borrow a mountain sled, especially if you're going to Togwotee. A friend of mine just got back from there...the snow is deep and Togwotee is steep.

togetwee is where we are going in march. there is a group of 20 that we are going with. Some of them have been out there, and they run all different sizes of tracks. A bigger track would be nice but is alot of money and time for 5 days.

dont plan on going steep and deep then. we were there in dec and shorty's werent getting around anywhere fun but the trails.

you will be very dissapointed you wont be able to go way into the backcountry while your buddies do. what will end up happening is the longer track guys will break trail in and play and the shorter lug, shorter length will ride in on their tracks. invest in a snowbunjie you will need it. ski
