Anyone else still having problems?
My first set broke with in the first 450 miles.
I made a set out of belting material from Tractor supply Co. while a waited for my warrenty ones to get delivered. They lasted about 400 miles but looked better then the stock ones, except they broke where I drilled the extra setting holes.
I put on my new Yami straps, and after 250 miles, one looked ok and the other was damaged. It appears that the track lugs spun the bottom of the strap and then hit the slack in the strap. So I ordered one new one, unfortunetly its a 1/4" longer then the ones I already have.(same exact part #)

I decided to make another set (belting material) and eliminate the extra setting holes, and also I widened the strap through the center.

One pic is of the new ones I made, and the newly damaged Yami strap.
The other is the old stap I made, you can see It looks good other then it broke at the setting hole.(The belting material is only a two ply, Yami's is three ply)

I'll update when I get some miles on the new ones.

Those straps breaking must have something to do with the rebound damping of the center shock. I check mine often because last year poeple where breaking them, so after 1700 miles they look like new, but hygear has alot of rebound dampening in that shock.

I revalved(ok, my shock guy did, lol) my shocks this year. He told me yesterday he wants to go even slower on the Center shock rebound. So hopefully your right and that helps.

My first strip broke at 1600 miles and I also had to fabricate one out of hay baler belt because my dealer had to order one (took a week and a half). The one I fabricated only made it about 400 miles. The straps seem to be susceptible if your track is even minutely out of center and if you don't line the strap up perfectly where it bolts together. Also, the rubber boot that sits between the straps on the lower shaft was bunched up on one side. Straightened it out, wrapped it in a couple of layers duct tape and problem solved.
