I have been spending some time installing a full OEM XTX skid/extension/ brackets on my 08 RTX. All is left now is to install the brackets. I took measures of a new XTX to help. The front suspension bolts fit directly into my stock RTX holes. Now that i'm ready to drill holes for my rear brackets I notice my track is extremely tight already and it's loosened all the way. Any idea what might be causing this ? would it be i need to relocate all the front mounting hardware on the chassis ? I took measurements and the front holes did seem to be just a 1/4" off location of a stock xtx, i can't see this making a huge difference to the track tension. Any help or info would be great. Thank Oh yeah i did check the part number on the track and it is a 144"x15x1.25 so i know the track is right.

I also noticed that the nubs on the inside of the track are TOUCHING the limiter strap rod. This can't be Normal ? I don't have the slides on yet, should this fix it ? and the top part of the skid has metal slides to help with track rub, should my track be touching this while it's just sitting on the floor ?
