Curious if the tunnel mounting points for the rear skid is the same on a 2016, 17, 18 is xtx 146 to 08 mtx ?
I would like an apex with power steering and thinking of getting a xtx with a 146 and throwing in a 162 skid.
Chaincase looks to be the same so a 2.5” track should fit with 7 tooth driver

the mtx skid is closer to the 11-15 apex xtx and you are not alone. i almost pulled my 16 xtx skid and put in my spare 11 xtx skid for ride purpose as i was having trouble getting it to ride how i wanted. mounting points are pretty dang close but never measured them both.
