Does anyone have any info on the top speed of the xtx's? I see the rtx's are over 100 mph but was just wondering if the xtx would be in the same ballpark?

Probably marginally faster.
XTX's in Nytro & Apex are faster than the shorties. [2km in Apex. not sure about Nytro]

They should be slower. That 1.6" Cobra is going to rob some top end!

My ltx speedometer is spot on with a stalker radar gun. 96.3 mph in 1000 feet one day on the stalker and speedo read 96. The speedometers are within 1 mph of actual speed. Seen 100 on my sled once and that was in stock form with clutching a little off. I'm thinking the xtx will be darn close. The bigger wheels on the ltx and xtx help as far as speed is concerned

Don't forget you won't see the "real" top speed until you get a good many miles on the motor. These things take quite a while to completely break in.

A lot of truth there. At first I could hardly get 75mph out of mine in decent conditions. Hit the 50-60 mile mark and it loosened up a lot after that! First time it hit 100 was around 70 miles. It's gotten faster since then aswell

I radared an viper xtx with 40 miles on it. The conditions were almost perfect. About an inch and a half of smooth wind compresed snow on a lake and he had about a half mile run. He got 99.
Now to compair to a broke in 1200 that I belive to be a box stock went 102. Also to compair to my apex of 113
All sleds were studded.

So once the xtx gets completely broke in I'm sure you'll be seeing 100mph out of it. Evil eagle, watched some of your YouTube vids your apex seems to run real well. Have you had the chance to line up against a viper yet to compare? Seen in 1 video that there was a nytro that got a good jump on everyone and hung right there for a bit. Would love to see some videos of a viper vs apex. Been tryin to convince dad to get his out but he is a fair weather warrior, 30 degrees or warmer otherwise it's stayin in the garage lol. I predict a viper will jump 1-2 sled lengths on an apex and hang there til prolly 90. I raced a nytro half a dozen times with my viper. Viper was no doubt much faster off the line. Once my clutching got dialed in it would run prolly 5-10 mph faster in 1000' than the nytro. Very pleased with the all around power and speed of my ltx and I'm sure the xtx will be darn close to that!
I doubt you will see 100 on the XTX because it is geared much lower and spinning a 1.6" track. I have not found a place to open mine up yet and will have to do it with GPS cause I cannot keep my head down to read the spedo. I am still trying to figure out how to stay on the seat and hold onto the bars.

I have the same sensation. When u crack the throttle with the turbo it feels like u are going to slide off the back of the sled. Lol
I think MPI should include a replacement seat skin as standard for the Viper or at least large velcro pads for the seat and my A$$
