Are you the original owner of the machine? If you have a good relationship with your dealer you may be able to get them to go to bat for you with the regional Yamaha Rep. The rep may authorize some after-warranty-assistance for your exhaust and pivot arm.

warranty
Well guys if you have an extended yes plan ,BEFORE it runs out bring your sled to the dealer if you suspect " bad donuts-
equals usually cracked y-pipes" also check front pivot
arm for cracks, have them look over everything, according
to the rep i just talked to, if my sled was at the dealer
they would of covered my y-pipe, cracked pivot arm, my
warranty ran out a month ago ... so paying out of my
pocket,

Dude,
that blows.
If you can wait a bit you could save a buck on the pivot arm and have halfbakedcoatings.com do their beef up treatment to your front pivot. It'll be better than new then. But you'd be out of commission for a little while longer.

My 06 had the YES coverage maxed out as well. Mine expires on the 26th of this month.
It was 4 years of extended plus the factory 1 year that everyone gets, so a total of 5 years from original in-service date.
Its worth it. My sled had donuts, a y-pipe and a radiator all covered by warranty.
