2010 FXNytro MTX 162 SE with a 270 hp MCX Turbo and assorted goodies!
My wife and I had an absolute blast in Revy again this year. I stand by what I said last year, the Yamaha Canada Team knows customer relations inside and out. Those guys put on an absolutely awsome event. Many companies could learn from thier example.

We enjoyed meeting new and old friends alike up on the mountain. It is absolutely amazing how many people remember each other year to year. What a snowmobile community!!! Herbie Burgers were the best yet!!!! If you haven't gotten to the Boulder Mountain Cabin for his amazing cheeseburgers with onions....... you better get up there someday. The snow was fantastic and the weather was really pretty darn nice. We came into town on Friday night and rode Saturday through Tuesday. Our main purpose was to take in the Yamaha Demo Rides and visit with the Yamaha Guys, but we put on some great powder miles. Did I mention the snow was great????

Now for the sleds. The new XTX is going to be a hit with many markets, and the new front end geometry is a big improvement over 2008. Nice Job!!! The Venture GT makes me want to get old, well not really, but it is a sweet ride for the touring segment. And the RTX SE......... JUST COOL!!!!! If I hadn't already bought a 2008 FXNytro MTX last year, I would want one of the RTX SE sleds just for fun. Wish I had that one for the ride off the mountain Saturday night..........

Many people may be dissapointed with the "New 2009" sleds, but once you take a closer look, there were many changes and new things for 2009. I joked about getting old and wanting a Venture GT, but really, that was a nice sled with some extremely predictable power and handling. The XTX is really more than just "add some track to a shorty." They did their homework, and it is an extremely fun machine.

We just got back today (Wednesday) and I am still excited about the trip, telling everyone I see how awsome the snow was, how great the Yamaha people are, and how I can't wait to get back up there!!!!!!

Thanks again to Chris R. and the Yamaha Canada Team for one of the best long weekend adventures of 2008!!!!! If you have not already discovered the Yamaha Canada Snowmobile Blogs, here is the link to the Revelstoke write-up.

You have an active rep out there that is a huge asset & actually goes out & rides these sleds.( Randy S...aka climbmax) I see our rep once a year at the annual show( this sunday). Don,t think he even rides much! I was actually on Boulder in 2001 & bumped into R.S. & his crew in the middle of no-where!!!!

Great report and Pic's.

My wife wants me to get excited about the Venture GT and I am trying but ...............? Then I think what is not to like, good power not quite like my Apex (06) and the ride quiet exhaust should be nice for long days.

Was it smooth and quiet like they report ? TURN OK?

Thanks

Wish I had access to a riding area like that wow enjoy

The Venter GT was extremely easy to steer and manover. Like it had power steering. Also, very quiet. I would say quieter than my FXNytro MTX.

The RTX SE was hard to really get a sense of suspension, as we were in te mountinas. Deep and steep and did not realy get to ride it on anything roughed out.......... But on the litle jumps and ruts it seems like the sspension is extremely adjustable.

Cody, let me know if I left any snow for you...............

lol im not going there this year i mean i live on the road that goes there. Im going next year though :P
