And it would be nice to see real results from people that are not trying to sell these things. I agree, a lot of fanfare, but very few actual radar gun proven results, or real world fair comparisions. How many people have the stones to say , I don,t think it is as good as what I was expecting, for 2.5 or 3K. Hope it is as good as advertised, cause I would love to have one. I still don,t get that feeling, from what I,ve seen so far.

I've owned 3 Apex's from 06 - 10's that with minor clutching and extra air run between 110-115 MPH. I've yet to see one roll out of the box that run anywhere past 110MPH on the gun.

Not very funny.
I am pulling my heavy nitrous clutching about 500rpm more than it did last year on the motor.
I am in the process of adding tip weight.
This for real about 20hp as advertised.

I love mine and I don't sell em. So far I believe its a good mod for the price. If you have the extra cash get one.. If you have alot of extra cash get a full on turbo or SC, thats my opinion... I have not had a chance to get it on the radar gun but it runs 125 on the dream meter with relative ease.. We'll see what it does under the gun once the lake is good enough to plow a good mile or two long track...

So mr.pitstop, what did your sled run, at its best last year, on the dreammeter, without the yamacharger ? Just trying to see the difference.

charger
i bought a y/charger for mid-range to 100mph, it makes alot more fun for
me, i ride alone 90%of the time so i only get once in a while.

Went out today for a few hours, did 183kms. The low fuel light came on at 121kms so put the 8 liters I was carrying in the machine. At the fuel pump the machine took 28 liters to fill up, so I'm thinking that a tank of fuel would give me about 180 kms. That was riding on the river, some powder, averaging about 120km/hr.
As for power, machine sure feels stronger, again I'm comparing as to when it comes from powder onto hard pack.... better be ready! Speedo showing about same top end as last year, high 170's, but gets there faster.

Best I saw in repetative short runs last year was 118. I did get 125 on the speedo once in perfect conditions in a very long haul. Now Im getting 125 in a much shorter run.. I think the sled is easily capable of 130 on the speedo now on the lake.. I'll have the gun on it as soon as possible..
