What do you guys think of that idea??? AC does not have a D.I. engine and yamaha does have the tech to make one. AC still use and like the two stroke. I think it is a very good possibility!!! What do you think???

I think its a great idea!!! im waiting to see arctic cat release and then make my choice..I have a mcx nytro that will stay in the shed but im happy to see a new sled that will not need so many upgrades! all in all im a 4stroke fan but a DI yami 2 stroke could end up in my garage if ac does use it with yami clutches.

According to ACat's release on BusinessWire this morning they will only be using Yammy 4 Strokes:

"Arctic Cat Inc. (NASDAQ: ACAT) announced today that it has entered into an engine supply agreement with Yamaha Motor Corporation, expanding Arctic Cat's purchase of Yamaha snowmobile engines starting in the 2014 model year. Arctic Cat initially entered into an agreement to purchase Yamaha 123cc 4-stroke engines for its youth snowmobile in 2009. This agreement has now been expanded to include select 4-stroke engines from Yamaha."

I was told this week that AC bought 5500 Nytro motors from Yamaha.

I heard from a Yam dealer 5000 Nytro motors.
