I got a chance to try out the new yami skis last weekend. We put a set on the dartiest sled in our fleet. (06 Attak)
I am happy to report that they are awesome! At first I was refusing to believe that they were made by Yamaha. They track and corner really well.
We have always refused to change skis in the past because the other dual runner skis we've tried push too much. Dual carbides push even worse. I never saw a reason to spend more money to sacrifice cornering ability / safety.
At only $60 something per ski, I feel like Yamaha is apologizing to all of us for never producing a great ski!
They are currently backordered but call your dealer, they may have a set. Mine did and I snagged them!
About $240 complete with 16 inches of carbide (four 4's)

I agree! I have about 800 km on them now and I love them(coming from stock skis). On trail these skis rail on corners and have much reduced steering effort . For the price I think they'd be hard to beat. Even my buddies on the doo's say it darts less and handles very similar to theirs. I have 11/4 inside and 9/2 outside. These are the skis that should come on all yamaha sleds .

Lies! Lies and propoganda! It can't be true! Yamaha can't make a good ski! Haha, seriously though, that's great news! It's about time Yamaha made a ski that actually works

I posted all this info a couple weeks ago. They work great. same as the arrow skis I have been recomending for the last 4 years. Yamaha is having kimpex make them. They say soucy plastic on them, a kimpex company. They are better in a few ways than the arrows but not as good looking. To improve the looks, take 2 100$ bills and place one on each ski, this will make them look alot better or just as good as the arrow.
