I noticed Yamaha is selling a heated grip kit (SMA-10TGP-HK-00) as an accessory. Anyone try this? Wonder if it is better than the mediocre stock grip heaters.

There was 2 threads about this a month ago or so. Seems it's made by an after market company and focus's the heatiing elements to the center so you might loose heat at the end.
