Does any one have installation instructions or any knowledge on how the plastic pieces of this mirror kit mount to the sled. I purchased one of these from dealer on clearance thru ebay and the instructions were removed. I am especially interested on where the right and left orange/yellow reflector pieces mount. Thanks for any help you can provide..........................mike

On the inside of the hood and lower panels are little markings in the plastic that show where you are to drill the holes for the screws.

I don't have any pictures that I can show you of my sled's mirror kit, but I know that there are some here, but you'll have to do a little searching for them. Once you find those little markings though, you'll get a better idea on how they fit and can dry fit the parts. They fit pretty much flush.

If you check this thread, there was talk about that kit and "maim" posted the instructions on installing the mirrors.

I have these on my 03 RX-1 and really like them, they are hidden good - work well - and block the wind from my knees.

Thanks for the replies and the link (I tried a search but must have missed it). I see that the base plate mounts to the mirror piece and not to the inside of the hood as a re-inforcer. From what I can see/read in the instructions the reflectors go on the lower pannels and are lined up with the hood pieces. Thanks alot.

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST and ONCE AGAIN .....YAMAHA CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOTALLY USELESS !!!(they said return item to dealer!)

glad my link helped. still need to get off of my butt and put them on my sled....... ah screw it i am going riding instead.

Are the mirrors adjustable or are they fixed in place ? I saw the kit
at the dealer and was thinking of buying it.

Fixed, they are flat plastic mirrors glued to the plastic wind deflectors. I like them on mine.
