I just got my motor back rx1 from the shop that is about 1000km away. And I forked out a hand full of cash to have the head shim removed and Low compression pistons installed the motor started perfect before the upgrade. I reinstalled motor and for the life of me cant get it to run.

So I removed the turbo and removed the valve cover and

noticed the cam gears had been groved for the shim as your suppose to do I turned the gears back to stock location and still won't start ?

How do I verify the timing is cortect
