What's included with the yamaha tuning bundle that's required for the nytro RTX and XTX. I need to purchase a kit so I can install my MPI supercharger, but I have the mpi Kit for 6000ft plus.its the Yamaha accessory kit straight from Yamaha and is complete, but I can't just run it at sea level without adding things. Any help greatly appreciated . The tuning kit is posted on Yamahas website and you simply determine which one you need, for flat land or 6000 ft and above. If I order this kit will it have everything like gauges, cooler, clutching etc

Furg any progress on this? I'm really thinking about the mpi low elevation kit for this winter. I'm curious to know also if the gauges come with the tuning bundle??
Also, I have a pcv and auto tune waiting to be installed, along with k&n filters, can I run this gear with the mpi kit? Or stick with the gems tuner?

We can retrofit your existing PCV to be just as good as the PTi units we offer. You will get much more precise and consistent fuel tuning over your GEMS controller that the supercharger comes with.

If interested mpi sells for yamaha are flash of your ecu. What it does is lower your warning temperature to 190 instead of the 212 that yamaha sets the light at. Which that 200+ number can cause damage to your sled. Also it changes the timing on the sled, allowing 2-3lbs more of boost supposedly all while keeping you on pump gas without detonation. This was shown in the latest snowmobile magazine that just came out, and i talked to Mac about it last year. Of course getting the right clutching, which I bet is part of that bundle I see you guys talking about. will help keep you from bouncing off the limiter. Bet it it is similar to the push bundle or gauge, and clutch for sea level.

I wonder what is different between this kit and the mtx kit besides the pullies, and the clutching weight? Doesnt sound like anything but that imo. Being you can pick up a new mtx kit for well under 3k, and the trail kit goes from $3790-$4400 depending in the seller. I've seen mtx kits from $2200-2800 from yamaha factory authorized dealers. Buy some pullies, and you can change the weights on the clutch for cheap.
If you think about it. An mtx kit for $2800 + $350 for an mpi reflash, $390 for an ulmer boosted clutch setup, $350 for a rear tunnel cooler (for extra precaution), and an ulmer digital temp gauge, and you are at the same price ballpark as a trail charger kit. All while keeping the sled cooler, gaining up to 2-3lbs of boost off the mpi/yamaha reflash, getting real clutching, and all fits factory. All while leaving a couple of bucks left over for an a/f and or boost gauge which doesn't come with the mpi setup anyway. Just my two cents if you want more for your buck.

Hey radianguy , Yamaha wrote me back and said it consist of clutching, pullies, ice scratchers and extra tunnel cooler. The kit has no gauges at all. So I picked up a aem air fuel gauge and koso digital water temp and a boost gauge. I haven't started the install yet. But hopefully this fall I will get it all started. Thinking about a 1.75 backcountry while ill be changing out all 4 shaft bearings this year. You can certainly use your PVC , probably be better then the gems controller that came with my kit.
