My boss running yamicharger on new 09 apex, ulmer clutch kit. my sled 2006 apex excell exhaust ulmer clutch kit and 23 tooth top sprocket.
Side by side to 60 mph then starts pullin away. 6-8 lengths in 1/2 mile. Last years i could beat him most of the time.
does exactly what is says. Little harder on fuel then mine now.
Forced me to rethink turbo next year MCX 290 ?

why would you want to step up to a 290 kit, it was a rocket at 200, should be an insane ride

Not quite the same. yamacharger clutching pc5 is about 2800.00 MCX200 is 5300.00.


But i hear you.


We did an airbox mod to a friends 2011 and it went slower on the bottom and mid. We added a pc5 and it screams. There is no doubt in my mind you needed a pc5 on your sled.

It's way too bad you are upgrading to the 290hp for next season.....it would be nice to see just how your mcx200 kit does against my little Yamacharger.
