You guys that raised your bars on the vector what throttle cable did you use? I thought with the rerouting I would have enough room, But when I turn all the way to the right the tors goes off. I am thinking of ordering one for a 05 vector mountain any one use this one or know if it will work??? THANKS

just bypass the tors if u wanna save urself some money

i have the two inch riser on mine and all i did was relocate thee-brake cable from the front of the thremostat housing to the rear and had a costum brake line made up for about 20 dollars. and yes i already bypassed the tors the day i bought my 05'.

How tall is your riser? I still use my stock throttle cable but the bar is straighter. I only changed my park brake cable and brake hose. I would guess the mountain cable would work for you. They are not very much.

All in all, I am very happy with the swap. The taller bars and seat make riding the rough stuff a lot better because it is a lot more natural to stand and sit again where it was a chore before. I know what you mean though, the taller seat takes some getting used to in the trails especially if you are an aggressive rider. It raises the COG and feels like more work to corner. I feel it's a good trade off so far though. My wife took it out last weekend and really liked it. Said it felt a lot more comfortable. She did not care for the sled last season. She'll probably take it over when she gives up her Phazer to our son next season...not sure if that's good or bad.

The 07 Nytro throttle cable will work and it's around $15. You can also get the choke and parking brake cable for the 07 Nytro, but for a brake hose you will need the 05 mountain vector hose. That one is a little over $40.

I used the stock cables with a 4" mtn machines pivot riser it's the only 4" pivot riser that you can use with the stock cables because it pivots right at the bottom of the base.

just buy urself a mtn throttle cable and u will be fine...but the brake hose shoudl be fine unless ur goin 4+ without tilting ur bars forward
