Your next sled is going to be???

Interesting. I will have a chance to ride a 900R next winter, one of my riding buddies just bought one.

I am not sure. Riding her new sled was a bit of an eye opener. There is a lot I liked about the Polaris better than my Lynx. Her sled has Dynamix and it is a slot car. The gauge, brakes, headlight, and handling were all favorable compared to what I currently have.

I am thinking it is not worth sinking a bunch of money in the 900R if I am going to move on from it in a year or two.
The polaris handling is pretty unbelievable. I picked up a 9R switchback assault at end of season which Id imagine isnt even close to the handling on trail as a VR1 dynamix and I was blown away how sensitive it is to rider input. Unbelievably flat handling and stable. Brakes are so powerful it takes a few miles to get used to them and love the 7S display. Doesnt matter what position your in you can see it clearly and so many options to customize. Really looking forward to next winter.

Yes sir Justinator....i have or had vr1 129" boost, xc137" and switchback xc 146" it dont matter which one you pick nothing on snow matches thier handeling, just sit on the seat add some body english and go fast!

I got a chance to ride my uncle's 9R and i really liked the comfort the skid achieved but the front end was just too much feed back.. It was super twitchy and all over the place. I felt like i was getting jarred while riding some minor stutters that i just didn't even feel with the XTX.

Ski alignment is way off was the cause.

As fords4life mentioned im willing to bet ski alignment was way off. I only know 1 dealer in my area who does ski alignment at PDI unfortunately. Mine felt like that a bit on first ride but it was very crusty and icy out. We were going on ride the next day so I didnt have time to mess with it but checking it out showed one ski was toed in 1/4-5/16” and other ski was at zero. Setting to 1/8” toe out settled it nicely. Its very precise and flat.
