I know this has been talked about a lot, i tried searching and found a few things just not what i was looking for. The thing is with this snow it got me doing one final look over my sled before it gets cold out.. anyways i was having a hard time with alignment of my track so i stopped messing with it yesterday, i got home today and started over and noticed my revolver pin was missing on the right side of the sled. it was the one in the front with two holes.

my question is i don't know how long its been missing, and if its been gone a long time what damage could i have done?
where can i get new ones beside ad boivin? i know there just stainless steel quick release pins, i just cant seem to find them except through fastenal 3/8 x 2 1/2" with ball detent
do you guys know of any other options to use like a bolt and nut?(i just think this idea might be bad since the threaded side might mess up the plastic as it is used to stop it.)

thanks

As far as the lenght, just buy long enough bolts so that you can bottom out the nylock nut at the end of the thread and the bolt still has room to move freely, then cut off the acsess thread. That way there will not be any thread exposed to ruin the rubber bumper block or the stainless revolver plate.
