I used hardware store washers stacked with the thinner Yamaha washers. The hardware washers were .045 thick. Make sure the washer outside diameter is smaller than the machined surface area so it sits flat.

I've installed the carbon fiber. 40c4340. (8dn length) I've added shim washers and the belt deflection looks good.

I just installed a Big Venom kit on my stock ltx se. No studs. Will the factory belt work okay? I've heard some guys are switching to gates carbon fiber. I'm sure this has already been discussed at some point but I didn't want to weed through 40 pages of threads

I have cut a piece of 2"x6" lumber that spans across the under the lower control arms to support the front. A block under the belly pan would work also

I'll be installing a Thunder Products Big Venom clutch kit this weekend. I'm looking for the torque specs on all of the primary and secondary bolts. Can someone get me these specs or direct me to a link that has these?

I'm not trying to solve everything with skis and carbides. I spent the end of last season(350 miles) tuning the suspension, trying to get it to turn better with the stock 4" carbides. Even tried running the front skid spring with zero preload and the rear fully loaded. I felt a little more ski...

Thanks all for the input. I'm going to try the 75$ carbides first before I drop $500 on new skis. The push isn't terrible, I just need it a little better.

Again, I don't plan on ever studding the track. I'll be trying the same, 4" carbide outside, 6"inside. Hopefully it helps. My last sled was a Rev so im used to that twitchy, over-responsive steering. Thanks
