Thanks. My nos kit is fun but I would like a bit more consistently usable power.

I have been searxhing threads. Many you have commented on 87 gt but still haven't determined if there was an issue with the charger on 2011 plus models. Is a pcv5 needed? I have one anyway. Just curious if there were confirmed significant gains on 2011+

if a STOCK 1200 is walking your apex I would take that clutching out n leave er stock. lol. agreed there a good machine and very quick with mods but stock they aren't. from my experience. just trying to help. no offense lol

my buddy has a 1200 with everything u are saying. they make huge gains with the clutching. I couldn't believe it. my 07 was dialed with airbox, clutching, headers, 23 gear 128 track and I would barely beat it. if your apex isn't on its A game running against a highly modded 1200 u will loose. I...

I had a nos kit on my 07 just to mess with guys. was no fun once the word got out. lol. guys quit racing. doubt I will stick it on the 11 I just bought. lol. good times

I have a 22 gear and chain. was going to try it. I did a bunch of reading and it seems like it's a 50/50 opinion on it. on 2011 apex 128". I'm thinking I can clutch it to up shift faster to help reduce spinning.

yes I'm aware. I had a 24,23 and 22 on my 128 and I found the 22 spun like mad. so I was wondering if they dropped to a 22 on the short track with a lack of traction. but thanks

I understand the kit and what you are saying. I looked at the kit but didn't see any gear. so if I buy the kit do I need to drop to a 22 from the stock 23 on 2011 apex?

when i mashed it before it would hit ten then drop to 9 making a bad sound

i changed my plugs. bypassed tors. added fuel via c0. plug were lean. headers and air box. mashed the throttle a dozen times in the field. wham. 10,800. sweet. see how it holds up on the trails. i think it was tors. the plugs were new this season. and i only changed one that looked a little...
