I just had my Nytro completely apart , engine out for a new head gasket. The first time I turned the key on it started turning over. I turned it off immediately then back on and it didn't turn over. When started the starter would kick out and it ran fine. I went to start the other day after it...
I normally wouldn't say anything bad about a dealership, but when they don't stock simple parts like bearings it gets annoying. It gets even more annoying when you give them exact part numbers and they still order the wrong thing in. I stock more parts in my garage than nipawin does... Unless...
Imagine that... They didn't have one in stock! And if they did order you one, they would've brought the wrong one in! I've started going to Kinistino for all of my yamaha dealings, better pricing AND service.
I was just wondering what guys were running for clutching at sealevel for a apex MTX. All mine seems to do is bounce off the rev limiter, all clutching is stock at the moment.
Yes tried a different relay with no luck. The fuel pump is actually working when it stops clicking and the pump cuts in. Sled actually started once then stopped once it started clicking again?
It will still chatter when a test light is plugged into it. It will work sometimes for a few seconds then start chattering again. Felt the ECU while it was doing it and it was very very warm in one corner
Well I went through and checked the entire wiring harness for wear spots as well as took every connection apart. I then cleaned every connection and filled them with dielectric grease. All that I've seemed to accomplish is now the fuel pump solenoid clicks faster
I'm having trouble with my 2009 Apex MTX. It was a totalled sled that I put a new subframe and engine in. We put it all together and it started and ran excellent. Took it outside the shop and drove it a few miles around the yard just to make sure it was working well. After sitting outside...
I've got a 162x16x2.5 Camo extreme on mine, just put spacers inbetween the drop brackets and the skid and it seems to be working. Had to grind the rivets and bolts down at the front of the tunnel.
Ive got a 03 rx1 mountain with 20 38 gearing and I was just wondering what everyone was using for clutching set ups for low engagement speeds and pulling? Mine engages around 4800 or 5000 and it's just to fast for driving it in the bush and pulling. Thanks.
