Made them on a lathe. Have read others replaced with OE and get a few seasons out of them if you dont have access to a lathe (pretty easy to replace).

Could be, im not an expert just messing around with settings that seem to work. Any shock experts that can confirm if i should leave 0 gap?

Yes, i lifted the sled to take all the weight off the skid shock, then backed off the adjustment nuts on the skid shock so a gap existed on the spring. Wasnt enough room for the top spring holder to come out. For clarity, when resting back down- no slack on skid shock.

Made 4 bronze bushings (#34) and a set of new #41 with no play - steering greatly improved. Thank you.

Alot of play in 41 and 34. Will make a set of flanged bronze inserts with shoulder bolt.

Great- thank you. Will take it apart and look for loose connections- as i have access to a machine shop- anyone ever try swaping all the bushings with bearings?
