Have anyone run a gt turbo with a oil restrictor on a apex turbo with the mcx return pump? Since you block off the stator cooling with the mcx bolt and now the cooling is going thru the turbo. Will the oil flow be enough with the 1mm restrictor to do the cooling job?

My plan was to do as you described and use the air temp as water temp. If i get it to work on the pcv i will show up on my display as it is a canbus link from the pcv to the lcd display.

Just started to hook mine up. I realy want the water temp on my pod-300. So i need to figure out the scaling to get it close. It is the pti i have.

have you found out what the scaling will be on the oem sensor?

You clearly need Nitrous on that one :D

He is running the 8bu-00 you can't compere them to an ordenery cam setup, thay have a profile like the supertip x cam.

2400km un boosted, ca 1000km boosted. I did ride it down from the mountain after the valve vent to sh... so i think that's why it looks like that.

I'm running a NFS2 header with a 2871R turbo mid mount. i gess the cyl next to it can say somting about how the engine/map is. It was a long way down from the mountain on tree cyl. so i don't think it would look like this if i haven't driven it down.. And it is an exhaust valve :-)

The carbon build up may be form the long drive down from the mountain..

I'm running rb3 with a map from dave at hurricane. But were i was in the map at the time, i don't think it's to much advance. But i will check in to that. Thanks for the heads up :)

I was wondering if this would be avoided with aftermarket valves, but maybe not....? I was running slow, no boost at the time.
