Still gotta do it on the Apex. You can't get the stock crossover tube out without opening up one side. It's very minor and can be done with a hacksaw blade.
I use a heat gun (carefully of course) and clean up any left over glue with WD-40. It works fast and won't hurt anything. Wax and grease remover works great too if you have some.
Tightening up the rebound will help a little, but there's no way a semi-agressive rider can keep from bottoming with that stock spring. Go with the heavier spring. There's no con's to it, just pros!
My wheels looked like new (over 600 miles) til yesterday when they both feel apart within 10 miles of each other. Thought I was going to be safe. Think again!lol
I don't think anyone has coverage for their sled on their homeowners. It's a totally seperate policy. The company just requires that you have your homeowners and auto policies with their company also. They are totally seperate. At least mine are.
