    Lopsided Rx-1M

The undercarriage has been out a few times since this has been happening so i can't see it being the rear end. I always have a really smooth ride when it comes to the rear end too, however when I'm going across a slope and the throttle side is pointing downhill I can just barely keep the sled...

    Lopsided Rx-1M

Made a post a while ago about this problem but didn't get any feedback. My '03 Rx-1M has a very bad tilt to the throttle side which seems to be in the front suspension. When you are standing on the sled you can feel that it is down on one side and that same side seems really easy to bottom out...

    2003 Rx-1M falling apart!!!

Well, order a 100 pack of rivets from the Sled Toyz site, hope they do the trick. I could only find one air powered rivet gun and it's in princess auto for 80 bucks so it probably aint that good. They also have a manual gun that's like a set of bolt cutters with 21 inch handles, might go with...

    2003 Rx-1M falling apart!!!

Ok, well how about the number of rivets holding the extension on?? says something like 62 in the diagram but that seems like too much and it would cost over 200 dollars to buy the rivets which I definitely cannot afford.

    2003 Rx-1M falling apart!!!

So, and this may seem like a very stupid question to some, how do you pop them without a rivet gun?? Also does anyone know the number of rivets I need to re-do all the rivets holding that extension on????

    2003 Rx-1M falling apart!!!

So for the past few years the "track cover" on the end of the body has been coming slack and no matter how many rivets I put in it it just keeps chewing them up. Is there some kind of update for this or a special rivet you need to get. I know the Yamaha rivets are like three bucks a piece and...

    Overheating????

I've ruled out the thermostat so now it's either the pin hole or the water pump. Each one is a pain in the #*$&@. I can't see the hole in the rad and in order to fix the pump I'm guessing you have to pull the motor?!?! The hole in the rad in between the side of the rad and the body so I have to...

    Overheating????

How can it be a sealed system if there is an overflow hose in the coolant bottle? Also, the hole has been there for a nice while with no problems until recently.

    Overheating????

I have a '03 Rx-1M and have never had it over heat in the five years I've owned it but in the past few days she has been displaying the light in the dash and no matter how much snow I pack on the runner boards and the rear rad I can't get her to cool down. There is a pin hole in one of the rads...

    Secondary Clutch Movement??

Has anyone done this modification of locking your secondary?? My belt does a fair bit of squealing when it is warm out, perhaps this is a solution??

    Front shock problems??

I've had the shocks apart and sized them up and they all seem to be about the same. The one thing I haven't done is put the brake side shock on the throttle side but I will be trying this next weekend. I just posted here to see if this is a common problem other people have experienced hoping...

    Front shock problems??

So lately I've been posting in the normal RX section because it seems like there are more people monitoring this section. I have a RX-1M and the frotn end is very un-level. The throttle side shock is very shoft compared to the brake side. I've tried two other shocks on the throttle side with the...
