So... I have had a Back Country 141 x 1.75" Track on my 2019 Tuned SW since it was new, lots of miles on this track. In NWO we typically don't run studs.
I have had for many years a 144 2 ply 1.6 Ice Cobra track and a new drive shaft with 10 x 2.52" drivers ready to convert this sled to a 144.
Sled will run over 120mph with the 1.75 Back Country
The Back Country was awesome in snow drags but I don't do that anymore.
What do you think?
Will I lose top end with the ice Cobra?
Will I have clearance issues?
Stay with the 141?
Go to the 144?
Other options?

Is the ice cobra a factory two ply version? I believe the version camso sells is single play. I have that track on a BRP sled and it was falling apart at 3,500 miles. I think I sidewinder setup like yours would destroy it even quicker.

You already own all the parts so it may be worth trying, but I don’t think it will hold up as well as your backcountry.

Traction with the ice cobra was very good in soft and loose snow. Not great on frozen hard pack.

The 144" Ice Cobra as a 2.52 pitch on the Camso's specs says its a 2 ply...all the 2.86 pitch length Ice Cobras say they are 1 ply. I really don't expect the Ice Cobra to be as durable as the Back Country has been as it has exceeded all my expectations. I never expected a 1 ply 1 3/4" track to last when running over a 120mph at times let alone being able to go that fast and do it for many 1000s of miles.
