Whose nose cone is that?

BTW, nice Viaggio pontoon. Bought a pontoon last year and looked at some Viaggio's rigged w/Suzkui's but ultimately went with a Bennington w/ Yamaha

Wide front end kit? From what manufacture? Details please....

Its something that Casey Hauck in Rice Like Wisconsin was doing it looks really sweet and can't wait to see how she turns!!! They pulled limiter straps up,some USI skis and the power steering should be a rocket up in the UP trails!

Sorry really not to sure all work was done by Casey Hauck in Rice Lake Wisconsin.
Shoot, I found this web page (chperf) but he does not list the nose cone. Just never saw one that looked like that.

Why would you want anything in front of the intercooler and hurting the flow of air? Frogskinz absolutely kills the airflow by more than you can imagine!

Just trying to address the snow build up that I'm sure is killing the airflow more than I can image or even desire for that matter. However, when you go back and look at all the Yamaha snowmobile accessories catalogs thru '25, practically all the Sidewinders' nose are filled with snow so maybe its a moot point but was just something I noticed with my 1st experience with a Sidewinder. I also read where you had posted about using the intercooler guard (7606-117) for a King Mountain so am considering it as well.

I actually find the deep powder snow to be the best cooling agent to that front intercooler there is for one day of running. The sled needs to be brought in every night and thawed out however for the next days’s ride as an ice blockage upfront prevents the powder snow from reaching the intercooler is also bad.

The Arctic Cat front grill is so much better than the Yamaha two piece grill. No grill in front of the cooler is even better yet for cooling honestly, but at that point you have no protection for the cooler at all from chunks or debris.

I've tried 3-4 different grill combinations, they all suck when riding off trail... this is a pretty typical end of the day scenario for my sled.

Although that nose cone did look nice and all integrated, I didn't realize it was using frogskinz. I sure don't want to add something that prevents snow build-up but then also hinders airflow. I've come to the conclusion as well as what @KnappAttack stated, they just need to be thawed out after the days' riding.

I've purchased from all 3. I think Dave at Hurricane has the best support. He's spends the time and doesn't pawn you off to underlings. One thing I will say is the HP levels are fairly misleading in the real world in the sense that a 270hp stock muffler tune is far inferior to a 270 mod muffler tune. Same with the header...a 300 header tune is way more power than a 300 mod muffler tune...and at lower boost too.
