Turned out to be cracked (big crack) innercooler. Funny it would not run worth a crap without boost.

Well I welded up the crack cleaned and checked the carbs and changed the oil since I had the inercooler off. Seems to run correct in the shop but the blowoff is not opening (might have helped cause the crack) pressure tested a bunch and fixed lots of small hose leaks. some on the vacume lines...

Sorry I forgot to put that in... I did disconnect it and wired it direct. I burned up a cheaper one on the last ride and had to do the same. I was able to ride out that time. I did disconnect the TORS and tried reconnecting the other way ( seem to have read that) did nothing to help.

I have done this with great results. It is very tight and I recomend grinding all rivits smooth as possible and there are a few bolts up front that need to be shortened and if I remember right and one to use a different type. I did a search on this site and came up with good info to pull it all...

Build a deal to run air perssure into the turbo. I did it with a left over silicone hose the size of my turbo intake and a PVC plug the same size with a air chuck in it. It sounded like a den of snakes under the tunnel. (rear mount) makes it real easy to find the leaks.

I Have a bender rear mount and can change up the pitot and make the sled run different but my AEM just hangs at 14.6 like it is stuck. sometimes I might get a slight bit of movement but it does not change while moving through the RPM range. The sled runs good plug color is good ( not too lean) ...
