I was running a short piece of extra tunnel protectors. The only reason this happened was becauce the rivets broke on one of the extra tunnel protectors. Sorry for the confusion. ;)!
Yes the hauck silencers are different. They have a muffler kind of like a 2 stroke dirt bike under the seat. I'll see if I have any pics of the rest of the muffler. You shouldn't have anything to worry about with the stock silencer.
I broke my header at the end of last year, only because my studs grabbed the Hauck silencer. It broke the header, silencer, and put a hole in the front cooler. I'm running 96 1.375 double diggers all in the middle.
I'll give another thumbs up for Ulmers Cluthing! Big difference with an Excell header and Ulmers clutching. My buddy and I have the same sled (06 Nytro) and we were always really close. Now I can put a couple of lengths on him in a hurry. It really makes it a riot to ride. Still isn't a speed...
I 2nd the Older style wheels/bearings. Instead of buying the collars I had my original collars machined. Works great. Around 900 miles without any problems. :flag:

I bought a 06 Nytro leftover at the end of last year. I put 900 miles on it and love it. Last year I studded it and put a hauck silencer on. I put a header on it this year and bought a set of heavy hitters. My question is what should I do with the Secondary? I wasnt sure what to start with for a...
Here is my 06 Nyto. Bought it last Feb. It is a very fun sled. I put 96 studs, a Hauck silencer, an Excell header, and a handle bar riser from gade-thrasher.
