I don't think there is a Stage 1 kit out there (which is to 8lbs) that needs anything but 91 octane. Maybe it's better if you run 50/50 with them, but it's certainly not needed. I've read that the MCX kits can run 15 lbs with only 91 and a header! Like they are saying, do a search. It's all here.
